First of all, you need to work on planning links that will be conducive to fluidity and smoothness. This does not exclude direction changes, but use them well. Get used to casually spinning as often as possible, imo, FS is a great way to master all the twisted sonic spam and other links you use a lot, so that when you use them (in a non spammy way of course) in combos, you can do them well and fluidly. Finally, I would advise the following: Tranquil as a forest But on fire within Once you find your center you are sure to win You're a spineless, pale pathetic lot And you haven't got a clue Somehow I'll make a man out of you and also: (Be a man) We must be swift as the Coursing river (Be a man) With all the force of a great typhoon (Be a man) With all the strength of a raging fire Mysterious as the dark side of the moon GL ^_^

For passes and tricks with conic motion. Practice a trick called 'Charge'. You must be able to do them both in reverse and normal direction. And in all common slots[13, 24 in sonic position and slots with thumb included.] For release tricks[Pen is not directly attached, required a push] such as Arounds, Shadows, BackArounds: Basically work on the trick over and over until you get a nearly perfect control. When you have good control of tricks, you should then work on linkages. The key is to relax, don't make everything look forced. Then smoothness will come. Each linkage has its own rhythm, you have to find your own way to make each look beautiful. By observing and keep on trying. I suggest you to spin on webcam a lot to see how your spinning look on camera. Presentation is the most important thing in this way. Hope this will help. :)

practice, once you reach a certain PS level they become smooth. You can try to do all the tricks as slow as possible yet still smooth if you want a super smooth style, but that kind of focus tends to consume your PS time so you won't have as much time for difficult tricks.

Don't eat until you get a linkage smooth. Continue for days. If you fail you die, thus motivation.
