    oh ya. im an ignorant american, mah bad. csu= california state universities. basically the academic budget is being cut, so yes. no new students for a year. and this isn't just one of the csu's, its a number of them.

    CSU is the second tier public university system in California. It has a lot of good schools, but the UC system is generally seen as more prestigious.

    UCLA, Berkeley and SD are good schools. If that means more money goes to support elite UC students, then so be it

    I wish it did, because right now UC's have become pretty crappy. The sad truth is that a lot of people are getting payroll increases, while the education budget is being cut. Also, some of the heads of UCs own for-profit colleges (the shit tier ones, like Devry, ITT, etc.), less students at CSUs and UCs means more are forced to pay for crap education.
