I only do booster/sealed drafts. More skill and fun that way. Also it's cheaper, if you go to FNM and get a decent place you can pick up some cards and sell them online. I've done it a few times, back in Zendikar was a field day, duo lands were the shit.

drafts are fun, i enjoy drafts but i find type 2 to be more fun -

I just don't like that in type 2 all you needed was money to win. When I was really into the game the deck of choice was jund. The full deck cost almost $800 and if you were willing to spend that you'd win, a lot. I think that for the world championship in the height of jund it was 7/8 of the top 8 decks. That's just stupid.

I change between BW tokens, Junk Ramp, UB control or Spirit Delver, depending on what I think the meta would be. The thing that you only need money is bullcrap. I could take the deck that won the last Grand Prix or Pro Tour and go 0-4 with it in an FMN, just because I don't have the skill or the routine with it. Preparing for the meta and playtesting a lot is really important, and you can even win with a 20 dollar deck.

It gives you a lot more options. Getting into Modern has a higher cost to step into, but all the cards you use are probably worth as much as you buy them for, at least for a long time. Same with Legacy, but then even more so.

you can practice on magic workstation but most ppl are too lazy/addicted and buy single cards... tbh i find the gameplay of Magic kinda boring now... and it focuses too much on the deck building aspect. so I just play other card/board games now -

Only two sorins? that was not what i was expecting, and dismember? i would run 1 elspeth main board and 3 sorins main board thats just me though -

it's off and on. i really like it a lot because majority of my meta are expecting something entirely different. some games i can pull off a turn 5 win, some games i play more of a control'ish match-up which is another reason that i like it a lot; versatility. all-in-all, i wouldn't consider it a pro-tour winner, but i wouldn't rule it out of top-8 (possibly top-4) -
