Off-topic / If time around you seemed to slow down, would force change?

I was just wondering one day: Let's say that you had increased senses, such that the world around you would seem to be moving in slow motion, but you are capable at moving at "regular speed" relative to you. However, everything in the world sees you moving very quickly while they are moving at "regular speed" relative to them. Now let's say someone fired a bullet at you, but the bullet seemed to be going very slowly, almost as if you could push it aside. If you were to put your hand in front of the bullet, would it still penetrate your hand, just very slowly? Or would it have less acceleration in relation to you therefore having little force?

This is a made up scenario so it is whatever the fuck you want it to be.

Well Scientifically speaking the bullet would penetrate through you're hand because you are in the same world as the person who fired it and i think slowing time itself doesnt affect the laws of space if it did there would be chaos and probably die Sent from xXDIVINITYXx

If the bullet was going that slow. Why wouldn't you just step aside to avoid it?

ok so time seems to slow down if you are moving at a faster pace. the faster you move, the slower things seem to be happening around you, til u get to lightspeed, where everything stops. however, this is only how your body perceives things. so say you move at the same speed as a bullet, then the bullet would appear to be still, but it still retains the same amount of energy. If you held out your hand as you were moving at the same speed of the bullet, then no, it would not penetrate you hand. to you it would appears as though you were holding a bullet. but to the people witnessing this, it wud seem like your flying alongside the bullet at a stupidly high speed... -

you already broke the rules of physics by having a guy slow down everything so there's no right answer because you can break any rules you want

time slows down as you approach the speed of light. if a person where to travel fast enough, time would slow down in his eyes. -

yes u are in the same world as the person who fired the bullet . because you perceive things around you as slower , the pain will be painful and very long but if u were to perceive things slower you should be able to dodge the bullet :)

OP is a faggot. Either you are faster and more powerful than anyone else (think of somebody like Neo, lol) and dodge bullets like it's nothing. Or everything gets slowed down and not only your environment moves slow, but in that case you reaction and movements will slow down as well.

If you have faster reactions and a faster brain you don't move in regular speed, you will move at the same speed everyone else does, enjoy the bullet killing your hand. Your brain slows down as you get older, slightly, so there is some truth.

You would be able to push the bullet out of the way obviously. There is no way its going through your hand if you overclocked your brain.

if time is theoretically slowed down anyways you would die quicker in extreme conditions because your body wouldn't be able to heat up quicker or cool down quick enough to maintain ur internal homeostasis and if you still moved at same regular speed but you could only see enviornment slower then you would see ur hand twitch by the time the bullet has reached you supposedly that you are still moving at regular human speed
