I normally think LeBron takes too much shit from people, but tonight was fucking ridiculous. Dude was ON FIRE in the 3rd, hitting everything he put up. Here's his shot chart from the 4th: Including this whack shot he chucked up with 27 seconds left, nothing but net: But the lower picture is of him ignoring a WIDE open lane in favor of letting his CENTER take the game-losing NINETEEN FOOT JUMPSHOT. Nineteen feet is the standard highschool 3 point line ... and he passed it to his CENTER there with 1 second left ... The dude's gotta stop pussing out in crunch time if he wants to be called "King James" ... this is goddamn ridiculous

    so... he still sucks?

No that's the problem. He's putting up numbers literally never seen before in NBA history. He's fucking amazing. But he pusses out in crunch time.

and thats what matters the most...

No, that affects like 5 games per season at most. He could easily win MVP and the Finals this year even like this, it's just frustrating that he's not using his talents like he should

he chokes in the playoffs... he can get his team in the playoffs, but cannot win them...

A lot of players can't single-handedly win playoff series, doesn't mean they suck. It means he goes from one of the best ever to just a really good player in those times That's why he went to join up with wade who has shown he can single handedly win

I will never understand why people care about sports.

Whether I do or not is arbitrary to my understanding, really. I love pen spinning, though I find it really hard to care about the world cup/world tournaments.

I'm with Zaki... I'm in WC and possibly WT... but I find it very hard to keep up with any battles that aren't mine

Selfish People. Mostly sports are a social thing, they give you a common interest and something to converse about. Now analyzing sports, that's a whole different story. That I find extremely boring.

You do realize that you've couched your statement such that you're saying that the primary reason people watch sports is to talk about them, don't you?

I like rooting for things. Unless it's playoffs I don't really watch football if Bears aren't playing.

neXus you're not from the states, you could pick any team so you pick the Bears?

I love the show According to Jim. Jim is a bears fan, I am a bears fan. You gotta decide somehow.

watching sports in which you don't have a rooting interest is usually really fucking boring once you get a rooting interest it becomes the most fun thing in the world. i dare you to be in a college basketball arena (for a top 25 team anyway) and not have an amazing time, it's addictive On the other side, sports analysis is just something i personally really enjoy, i understand how some people don't like it. but "rooting" is something everyone will enjoy

sports analysis is the same as any other analysis as long as the sport has some kind of depth to it, you can appreciate

Nah I disagree, sports is more compelling because of the rooting aspect and it's inherent value to the community

LeBron james is the most talented player to ever play in the NBA. Yes, LeBron is better than MJ. The man is physically unguardable, he just has to figure out a way to quit bitching out.

he's the most physically gifted. doesn't make him the best player. MJ would run motherfucking circles around him
